8. Guangzhou CTF Finance Centre, China- 530 Meters
Guangzhou CTF Finance Centre, completed in 2016, stands at 530 meters with 111 above-ground floors and 5 basement levels. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) and developed by Chow Tai Fook Enterprises, it’s one of the tallest buildings in China.
The tower hosts office spaces, a shopping mall, luxury residences, and the Rosewood Guangzhou hotel.
It also features the fastest elevators in Asia, traveling up to 72 km/h (20 m/s). Its terracotta-and-glass façade enhances thermal efficiency, making it both visually striking and environmentally conscious.
