With 524 people on board, Japan Airlines Flight 123 took off into the skies; and into tragedy. A hidden repair flaw tore the aircraft apart midair, sending it helplessly crashing into Mount Osutaka after 32 unbearable minutes.
Only four survived; 520 lives were lost, marking the deadliest single-aircraft disaster in aviation history.
