4. Capilano Suspension Bridge

Supported high above a canyon in British Columbia’s rainforest, the Capilano Suspension Bridge is more than a crossing; it’s an adventure. Spanning 450 feet and hanging 230 feet over the Capilano River, it sways with every step, thrilling over 800,000 visitors each year.
Built in 1888 from hemp rope and cedar, it’s now a sturdy engineering feat said to hold the weight of 96 elephants.
