This border runs through miles of untouched Nordic wilderness. In winter, a snowy trench marks the line through dense pine forests; in summer, hikers on the Kungsleden trail cross it unknowingly.
Despite its peaceful nature today, this area once symbolized trade routes and military boundaries. Now, it represents nature at its most pristine and politics at their most peaceful.
