The drama surrounding the It Ends With Us director deepens as new accusations from co-star Isabela Ferrer add fuel to his ongoing legal battles with Blake Lively.
Isabela Ferrer Accuses Justin Baldoni of Harassment

Justin Baldoni, actor and director of the It Ends With Us film adaptation, is once again facing controversy—this time from his own co-star. Actress Isabela Ferrer, who played the younger version of Lily Bloom (Blake Lively’s character) in the movie, has accused Baldoni of harassing her and attempting to manipulate her involvement in the ongoing lawsuit between Baldoni and Blake Lively.
In a new court filing, Ferrer alleged that Baldoni and his Wayfarer Studios team have tried to “manipulate, threaten, control and otherwise act inappropriately” toward her after she refused to comply with his legal team’s demands surrounding a subpoena.
Baldoni’s Legal Team Fires Back

Baldoni’s attorneys were quick to respond, calling Ferrer’s accusations “an inappropriate attack upon Mr. Baldoni and his counsel” and claiming her statements are irrelevant to the matter at hand.
In their Aug. 18 letter to Judge Lewis J. Liman, Baldoni’s legal team argued that Ferrer’s opposition to being subpoenaed was simply an attempt to block critical testimony.
“The opposition is primarily an inappropriate attack upon Mr. Baldoni and his counsel … and irrelevant to whether Ms. Ferrer should be served via alternative means,” his attorneys wrote.
They emphasized that it was Blake Lively’s team who originally subpoenaed Ferrer earlier this year and insisted that Baldoni should also have the right to obtain testimony from her.
Why Ferrer Is Caught in the Middle

The dispute centers on whether Ferrer should be forced to provide testimony in the heated court battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
According to filings:
- Lively’s team first issued Ferrer a subpoena in February 2025.
- Baldoni’s Wayfarer Studios later attempted to serve her with their own subpoena in July 2025, seeking documents they claim were not included in Lively’s request.
- Ferrer’s attorney, Sanford Michelman, initially accepted Lively’s subpoena but refused to accept Baldoni’s.
Ferrer’s side argues that Baldoni’s motion was “brought without conducting the diligence necessary,” including failing to even confirm her residential or business address. They also alleged Baldoni’s team tried to use her film contract to pressure her into complying, suggesting she turn over control of her subpoena response in exchange for her legal fees being covered.
Her attorneys say Baldoni’s behavior since then has been “harassing and inappropriate.”
The Bigger Picture: Baldoni vs. Blake Lively

This is just the latest chapter in a much larger legal war between Justin Baldoni and his It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively.
- December 2024 – Lively filed a California Civil Rights Department complaint, accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment, retaliation, and running a smear campaign against her after she spoke out about misconduct on set.
- December 2024 – The New York Times published an investigative report detailing messages allegedly showing Baldoni and his PR team plotting against Lively.
- December 2024 – Baldoni was dropped by his talent agency WME.
- December 2024 – Cast members including Jenny Slate and author Colleen Hoover publicly sided with Lively.
- December 2024–2025 – Baldoni, Wayfarer, and associates filed a $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times, claiming defamation.
Now, with Ferrer publicly accusing Baldoni of trying to intimidate her, the scandal shows no sign of slowing down.
What Happens Next
For now, the judge has yet to rule on whether Ferrer must comply with Baldoni’s subpoena. But her explosive allegations add new weight to Blake Lively’s broader claims against the director and his production company.
E! News has reached out to Ferrer and Lively’s reps for further comment, but no response has been given yet.
As Baldoni continues to fight accusations of harassment, retaliation, and now alleged bullying of his own co-star, his once-bright career in Hollywood appears to be hanging in the balance.
