Trump’s $45 million military parade is rolling through D.C. this weekend.
The tanks are here. The stage is set. The streets are blocked off. The soldiers? Already rehearsing.
But one person is definitely not impressed: California Governor Gavin Newsom. And what he just said is going viral.
“Weakness Masquerading as Strength”

“It’s a vulgar display,” Newsom said on MSNBC.
“You see this with Kim Jong-un. With Putin. Dictators trying to look strong… when they’re actually weak.”
Then he dropped the hammer:
“To fete the dear leader on his birthday? What an embarrassment.”
“Honestly, that’s about as small as it gets.”
Yup. He called it what it is:
“Weakness masquerading as strength.”
And Twitter/X ate it up:
- “Absolutely 100% correct.”
- “He hit Trump right where it hurts most.”
- “Newsom’s showing other Democrats how it’s done.”
- “He cracked the code.”
Whether you love him or hate him, Newsom didn’t mince words.
And Trump? Yeah… he’s really not gonna like this one.
