Brooke Hogan has finally responded to public criticism after her surprising absence from WWE’s emotional tributes to her late father, Hulk Hogan. While her brother Nick was present during the televised memorials, Brooke’s absence sparked questions and backlash. Now, she’s revealed a shocking reason behind it — and it’s not what fans expected.
WWE Tribute Controversy: “I Wasn’t Invited”

After Hulk Hogan’s death was announced on July 24 following a cardiac arrest at his Florida home, tributes flooded in from around the world. WWE began Monday Night Raw with a 10-bell salute, and continued honoring him on Friday Night SmackDown.
WWE also honored the icon, describing him as “one of pop culture’s most recognizable figures” and crediting him with helping the company achieve international fame in the 1980s.
While son Nick attended, Brooke was notably absent — prompting speculation. Brooke addressed the backlash on Instagram, stating:
“For those of you giving me crap for not attending my dad’s tributes, @wwe did not extend an invite.”
Her comment sparked further questions, with many fans surprised WWE failed to include her. Despite her absence, Brooke remains deeply connected to her father’s memory.
An Unbreakable Bond: “Our Connection Was Never Broken”

To shut down rumors of estrangement, Brooke shared an emotional tribute on Instagram, featuring childhood photos and a heartfelt message. She wrote:
“My Dearest Daddy, You were my everything… Our bond is eternal… I love you more than all the stars in the sky, 4LifeAfterLife.”
She further explained that their relationship went beyond the public image:
“I’m so grateful I got to know the real version of him — not just the one the world viewed through a carefully curated lens.”
Brooke, now 37, made it clear that despite not being at the tributes, her love and connection with her father remain intact and profound.
