1. Great White Shark

The Great White Shark is one of the most feared animals in the sea. It can grow up to 22 feet long and move very fast when it attacks. Its sharp teeth can cut through flesh easily, and new ones grow in place of old ones that fall out.
Most attacks on people are by mistake — the shark is often just curious. These sharks inhabit many locations, including the Mediterranean Sea. With over 400 recorded attacks, it is the most dangerous shark in the world. Still, its numbers are falling, so many countries now protect it.
