Long before the Titanic set sail, author Morgan Robertson penned a story about a grand ship called the Titan that struck an iceberg and sank in the North Atlantic. Fourteen years later, the real-life Titanic met the same mysterious fate; down to the month, the speed, and the lack of lifeboats. Readers were stunned by the uncanny details, but Robertson insisted, “I know what I’m writing about, that’s all.”
