3. Perfect Pitch
Also called absolute pitch, this rare talent allows someone to identify or recreate any musical note without a reference. People with perfect pitch can name a note played on any instrument, sing it back, or even tell if music is slightly out of tune. It’s more common among those exposed to music before age 6, and it’s believed to have a genetic component.
