3. Boiling Lake
Boiling Lake in Dominica is a large natural hot spring with water so hot it boils in the center. The edges of the lake reach temperatures up to 197°F. Hot lava beneath the lake keeps it boiling and sometimes releases harmful gases like carbon dioxide. It is a stunning but very dangerous place.
