6. Lammergeier (Bearded Vulture)
This vulture-like bird drops bones from great heights to crack them open, and it’s been rumored to accidentally kill humans in the same way. With a wingspan of nearly 10 feet, the lammergeier has a haunting presence in the mountains of Europe and Asia. While rare, accidental encounters can be fatal due to its sheer size and behavior.
