Somalia is often called the most corrupt country in the world. Years of war and weak governments have made daily life very difficult. Most people survive through farming, raising animals, or fishing, but corruption blocks progress in schools, hospitals, and roads.
Only 29% of children attend school, and life expectancy is just 55 years. With corruption, tribal conflicts, and ongoing violence, Somalia remains extremely hard to fix.
