3. Bunya Pine (Araucaria Bidwillii)

Don’t be fooled by its peaceful, pine-like appearance. The Bunya Pine produces enormous cones that can weigh up to 10 kg (22 lbs), falling without warning from towering heights.
Found in parts of Australia, these prehistoric giants are revered by Indigenous communities but feared for their lethal “fruit bombs.” Walking beneath them during cone season? Not a great idea.
