2. Sandbox Tree (Hura Crepitans)
Also known as the Dynamite Tree, this spiny giant can explode. Its seed pods burst with such force that they can injure animals and people nearby. The bark is lined with poisonous sap, and sharp thorns cover its trunk.
Common in South America and the Amazon rainforest, it’s both a botanical marvel and a hazard. Approach with caution—this tree doesn’t play nice.
