1. Manchineel Tree (Hippomane Mancinella)

Nicknamed the “Tree of Death,” the Manchineel is so toxic that even standing beneath it during rain can cause blistering skin. Its small, apple-like fruits may look tempting, but a single bite can be fatal.
Native to the Caribbean and parts of Central America, this tree exudes a poisonous sap that burns on contact. Even smoke from its burning wood can blind you. If you see warning signs around a tree on a tropical beach, stay far away.
