3. Stairway to Heaven

High in the green mountains of Hawaii, the Haʻikū Stairs; called the Stairway to Heaven, climb over 3,000 steep steps into the clouds. Built during World War II, they once led to a secret Navy station, and today, though officially closed, they draw curious hikers and locals who live nearby. The stairs seem to vanish into the sky, turning this hidden path into a place full of wonder and legend.
