8. Glowing Tires
Glowing tires lit up the roads in the 1960s with their built-in bulbs and colorful, partially transparent rubber; flashy idea that promised to turn heads. Sadly, they melted under pressure and slipped on wet streets, making them more flash than function. Though they never caught on, these glowing wheels still shine as one of history’s oddest car experiments.
