The Cat Meow Machine promised to be a rodent’s worst nightmare, but ended up as more of a retro curiosity. Every ten seconds, it let out a mechanical “mew” and flashed its glowing eyes, hoping to mimic a real cat. It didn’t fool the mice, but today it might just charm the Cool kids.
