8. Alice in Wonderland Syndrome

Alice in Wonderland Syndrome (AIWS) is a neurological condition that causes distortions in the way individuals perceive their body and the world around them. People with AIWS may feel like they are growing or shrinking in size, or that objects around them appear much larger or smaller than they are.
This condition is often associated with migraines or infections like Epstein-Barr, and can be both disorienting and frightening for those who experience it.
