4. Kolmanskop, Namibia

Kolmanskop was a diamond mining town in the Namibian desert, and it’s now a ghost town. The once-thriving community became a ghostly shell after the discovery of diamond deposits dried up. The vividly painted interiors, still furnished as they were in the 1920s, are eerily preserved.
