Christian Bale was chosen from thousands of kids to star in the movie Empire of the Sun at age 13. People saw how good he was at acting. He had small parts in the 1990s but became well-known with American Psycho.
Later, he played Batman in The Dark Knight Trilogy and won an Oscar for The Fighter. From the start, Bale has been a strong and talented actor.
