The Soviet-designed R-36M, also known as SS-18 Satan, is one of the most feared ICBMs ever built. With a range of 10,200 miles and the ability to carry up to 10 nuclear warheads, it was designed to destroy heavily fortified targets. Though aging, its destructive power and payload remain a major component of Russia’s nuclear arsenal.
