7. The Standard-Bearer
The Standard-Bearer is a 1636 self-portrait by Rembrandt, known for its bright colors and strong style. It was once owned by England’s King George IV and later by the Rothschild family. In 2022, the Dutch government bought it for about $198 million. Today, it is shown in museums across the Netherlands.
