10. Portraits of Maerten Soolmans and Oopjen Coppit

In 2016, Rembrandt’s wedding portraits of Maerten Soolmans and Oopjen Coppit sold for $180 million. These rare paintings have stayed together since 1634, unlike most portrait pairs. After years with the Rothschild family, they were purchased by two major museums, the Louvre and the Rijksmuseum.
