10. Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD)

Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) is marked by an inflated sense of self-importance, a need for excessive admiration, and a lack of empathy for others. Individuals with NPD often manipulate and exploit others to maintain their sense of superiority and entitlement. They may react with rage or contempt if their inflated self-image is threatened.
While not inherently violent, the emotional harm caused by their manipulative and self-centered behavior can be severe, particularly in close relationships and work environments. Managing this disorder requires long-term therapy and self-awareness to address destructive patterns.
