Famous for its swimming pigs, this quirky attraction suffered from overfeeding and poor behavior. Tourists gave pigs harmful food, causing sickness and even deaths. Some areas were closed to allow the animals to recover. Guidelines were put in place to protect the pigs. It’s a reminder that not all cute tourist spots are harmless.
