7. Dengue Virus
Dengue fever is transmitted by mosquitoes and causes high fever, severe headache, joint pain, and skin rashes. In its severe form (Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever), it can lead to severe bleeding, organ failure, and death. While dengue is common in tropical and subtropical regions, the fatality rate in severe cases can be high without proper treatment.
