5. Driver Ant
Found in central and eastern Africa, driver ants travel in massive swarms that consume everything in their path. Their strong jaws can pierce skin, and thousands can attack a single victim. They’ve been known to kill small animals and, in rare cases, humans—especially the weak or immobilized. Their overwhelming numbers and aggression make them terrifying.
