9. Eritrea
Eritrea has very strict laws on religion. Only three Christian groups are legal, and all others are considered illegal. Non-recognized Christians can be arrested and imprisoned without charges, sometimes for years. Many face military service or house arrest, and the government closely monitors religious activity.
