5. Iran
Iran has very strict laws that control daily life and personal behavior. Women and girls must wear a hijab and loose clothing, and men must cover their arms and legs. Breaking these rules can lead to arrest, fines, lashes, or reeducation.
Other acts, like adultery, drinking alcohol, and dancing in public, are also illegal. Punishments can be severe, including imprisonment, flogging, stoning, or death.
