9. Hippopotamus
Despite their bulky frame, hippos are fast, territorial, and extremely aggressive. They can run faster than humans on land and are known to attack boats in rivers. Their massive jaws can crush bones in a single bite. A hippo attack on land or in water often proves fatal within seconds.
